Abraham Lincoln our 16th President.

Our trip took us into Washington, DC and while there we went to see this magnificent statue of Lincoln. The history that has taken place in this spot is near and dear to my heart. We did not have much time there, but taking a tour bus, helped us to get around and see the things we wanted to see.

We will go back someday, as there is many museums and historical buildings yet to be seen.
