Parade

St George's Day parade in town today, attended by the scouts, cubs and beavers. I managed to catch the end after I finished work. Last year they hadn't managed to book a band and marched in silence, this year they followed behind Shirley Pipe Band, who were excellent. As with previous years the rain started as soon as they left the church to return through the High Street. My boy even polished his own shoes. He's had to muddy them on the way home though, clean shoes are uncool. He walked some of the way home holding my hand until he suddenly realised!!!!
