Playing life by ear.

By Crazyoldbird

Wild peas.

The wild pea flowers were blooming here and there in the country and one actually began to grow in a pot in my garden. These are what it produced.
Apart from that, please give me some advice on how to handle a person whose company I cannot avoid, who has the nasty habit of interrupting me as I speak, assuming he knows what I am about to say, when in fact he doesn't. Confrontation doesn't  work.
I'm tempted to try going non verbal and see what happens.
Tomorrow I see an ear nose and throat specialist and in two weeks time it'll be the knee surgeon.
Watch this space.
Yesterday Baldrick bit my leg and wouldn't you know, I must have "done" something to provoke him even though everyone knows he is a snappy/growly little b....... and think its amusing because they haven't  been bitten yet.
I had almost forgotten to mention that walking downhill carrying half  a bucket of water on each arm wrecked my wonderful knees and I am back to square one, hence the knee sugeon. I hope the young cork trees appreciated the watering they received. I grew them from acorns many years ago.
On Friday evening the Titch had a concert of mostly baroque music in the town church.
He played guitar with the other students but is the only one who wobbles his head while he plays and does vibrato, which makes it all the more fascinating to watch. Afterwards, while we were eating our pizza in the town square, I asked him to explain why he does the vibrato and he gave me a lengthty explanation. I think he actually knows what he is doing.

He will not be playing the oboe in public until next year.
