A new hobby?!!

I'd like to take up a new hobby. I'd like my new hobby to be................. 'collecting footballs'. In less than a week I've found 2 footballs. Yay! The only trouble with footballs is...................... they're too big to fit in my mouth. Boooohoooo!!!


My very lovely human, Ann, has always encouraged me in my hobbies & interests, but do you know what she said to me today?..................... She said, 'Trixie, your new hobby is NOT going to be 'collecting footballs'. Your mouth isn't even big enough to carry a football  and our flat is not big enough to create a storage area for a stash of footballs. Football collecting is a hobby for a Great Dane'. 


Booohooo!!! I found this very lovely football in Morningside Park first thing this morning. Oh well, win some, lose some. Late morning I went for a walk through the Hermitage and up Blackford Hill and guess what I found?...................... half a manky old tennis ball. It is absolutely disgusting but I was allowed to bring it home. Yay! I've now got 27 and a half manky old balls in my 'manky old balls box'.

…..............And in other news.................. we're watching the 'QueensPlatinumJubileePageant' Just hoping that the Queen is going to be well enough to put in an appearance. She's amazing.


The UK certainly knows how to party. The #QueensPlatinumJubileeCelebrations have been amazing.
