Proud looking Heron

Worked all day from very early but it disappeared so quickly. Late afternoon I decided it was time for a break and some fresh air after looking out at the sunshine.

Headed for the Benderloch hide I discovered. Think I have a few shots of a Willow Warbler (checked my book) and a Moorhen but they were not as good as this very proud looking Heron who definitely knew I was there! No sooner there when the rain came on - just typical.

We headed to the best place for mint tea and caramel shortcake instead - we felt we deserved it!

Will try and get a better one of the Warbler to put it on here.
