Best of British

There was a ‘Picnic in the Park’ arranged at the rec in our village for today  - but the weather forecast was terrible.

Despite the rain we wandered down to find loads of people had turned out - with raincoats, brollies and even picnics!  

Happily we found one or two people that we knew so stayed for a drink and a chat.

It was certainly not warm, so I loved that, nevertheless, when the ice cream van rolled up,  a queue formed within 5 seconds!
