Life through the window

Shot taken during an impromptu tour of Dean Castle in Kilmarnock this afternoon, thanks to the tour guide for all the fascinating facts. After church most of us headed down to Kilmarnock to support the 5K fun run/walk at Dean Park in aid of The Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation, which was set up in 2010 by a couple from my church after the death of their 15 year old daughter from a form of vasculitis. The event was more or less over by the time most of us got there, but it seems to have been a great success, and in spite of the weather forecast enjoyed glorious sunshine. We then headed to their house for a barbecue, so I am now completely stuffed with not just burgers and sausages but also meringues. Lovely day.
