Club Lotus Show

Today I (Chris) drove up to the Club Lotus Show at Donington Park. Annie's come along in previous years but there are only so many rows of cars and heaps of parts I can honestly expect her to be interested in!!! Drove up with the roof off which was lovely although not quite as warm as yesterday. Amongst the displays, Classic Team Lotus (who lovingly tend to a collection of former Team Lotus race cars) had a special collection of cars to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jim Clark winning his and Lotus' first Formula One World Championship. One of these fantastically well prepared machines is the subject of todays blip.

The British Touring Cars Championship (BTCC) was running on the circuit but after 3 hours of Lotus I decided to visit the Donington Grand Prix collection before setting off home.
