Playing in the Street

A few street parties in Portobello this afternoon. The ones on Brunstane Road and Woodside Terrace were quite busy but I didn't recognise anyone. Up on Coillesdene Drive however I knew a few people and when I said I wasn't sure about the whole taking pictures with kids they pointed me in the direction of the organiser who made a brief announcement asking anyone who objected to pictures being taken to let me know. So I was able to freely wander around taking pictures of everyone having fun without worrying about it! While the other two parties had lots of red-white-and-blue, this party had almost none of that and was much more about neighbours getting together again after the pandemic years.
