Holiday day 5

We carry on with our Cornwall trip today with a visit to the smart little harbour town of Padstow. We stroll along the harbour and meander up the old streets gazing into the lovely little shops, you can’t visit Cornwall and not sample the Cornish Pasties. We are enticed into a shop boasting the best pasties in the whole of Cornwall, we leave the shop and Monty - who is a bit of a chancer - made a grab for the bag and one ended up on the ground ( good job it was in a bag).

After stopping to consume our spoils we retrace our steps to visit the harbour town of Port Isaac (Portwen) made famous by Martin Clunes as Doc Martin.

On our way we come across a guy holding a fledgling finch in his hands we thought it was injured but it got its wind back and flew off ( see extra).

Walking on we pass a couple of guys and one looked very familiar he smiled as he went past and we recognised him as the actor “Joe Absolom” who plays Al in the series.
