Charity Brunch

Today has been fairly hectic with a fundraising Brunch that we hosted with a couple of friends.

We were raising money for Macmillan Cancer Research. We were not sure how many people would come but it worked out quite well. The event was spread over 3 hours and we managed to keep up with demand for bacon and sausage baps. The pancakes were an unexpected hit and we may do a similar event next Shrove Tuesday. If any of you are wondering why today's Blip is not a picture of me peeling a pancake off the kitchen ceiling - we cheated and bought them ready cooked. 30 seconds in the microwave was much easier (if less fun) than tossing them and no-one noticed (or they were too polite).

We raised a total of £285 which we are pleased with.
