Glencoe

This is the first of three blips from my short trip to Glencoe this weekend.

Finished work on Friday evening and luckily for me my last stop was in Renton. This allowed me to get straight onto the road and head north from near Loch Lomond. It was an absolutely stunning day and the journey to Glencoe took me longer than ever as I stopped several times to take pictures, starting with Loch Lomond. However I had promised myself that if at all possible all my blips would be from in or near Glencoe, so I haven't chosen any of the ones from Loch Lomond or others that I stopped to take on the journey.

When I arrived in Glencoe and unpacked I discovered that I had forgotten to pack my ipad so couldn't transfer the pictures from the camera and load them onto blip. Hence the backblip for Friday and Saturday.

This blip is taken from just off the A82, near the King's House Hotel and the turn off for Glen Etive and unfortunately I don't know the name of these hills. If you are looking down the road toward Glen Etive with Buchaille Etive Mor on your right then these are on your left.

This picture is the photograph as it came out of the camera. I haven't done anything to it, not even a crop. What a stunning day it was!
