Regrowth

This is a garden tree that was pruned earlier this spring. It's been pollared quite heavily in the past, so needs careful pruning every year or two to maintain its health. As long as you prune them every year they are fine. It's not a sane thing to do to a mature tree, and it's dangerous if you don't follow up every year as the regrowth can be quite unbalanced and the tree is prone to abnormal growth and then it dies...
