Ventoux Classic 2013

Hundreds of motor bikes and sidecars arrived on the Ventoux road for today's race. We went to Le Groseau to watch and be made deaf! It was like a continuous time trial of different categories of bikes - with some really spectacular ones like the one in the blip that Al is eying enviously!
The road from Mont Serein to the top is still shut and there is snow clinging to the top. The road isn't opened to the summit until May.

The vines are starting to shoot in sheltered spots round here but when we went to Carpentras yesterday they were all showing some green shoots.
Still a cold wind today but blue skies returning - I hope!
