Largo Bay
Here we are in the Kingdom of Fife (no false modesty here). It's idyllic, green fields, sheep all around, sun shining on the Forth (ignoring the redundant oil rig that's been parked out there for years ...)
All went smoothly ... apart from turning up on the wrong day - no problem, plenty of space, just a little senior moment on my part. Much more serious ... Wally comes equipped with a wine rack (only 4 bottles, but still ...) and TM had stocked it. I've been i/c catering equipment, so naturally he expected there to be a bottle opener and a corkscrew, but, another senior moment ... Luckily one of the bottles was a screw top. Tomorrow we're off to St Andrews (bus stop just down the road, free to us geriatric winos) to put things right.
Meanwhile, waiting to hear the result of the vote - TM has a snuck out to listen, I'm waiting to hear a cheer, but more likely a groan ...
M has arrived in Rekyavik after 7 days at sea, having climbed to the top of St Kilda en route.
