Van Gogh, eat your heart out.

I have had this canvas knocking round for ages, waiting for the right moment. That moment arrived today. I think Elsie and Hannah made a fabulous picture, with only slight guidance from me (trust me, I couldn't paint my way out of a paper bag). More of the work in progress here.

Black clouds still around (internal ones, that is), getting fed up with myself. Don't I know when I'm well off?

PS in case you can't read it, the price ticket on the bottom of the painting reads £650 - nothing like starting as you mean to go on!
