Not lost…

My Paddington bear. He’s actually 43 years old but acts much younger.

He lives in the loft now. Well he did until today when we met again after some time. I was putting the Playmobil away in the toy treasure trove in the loft and I spotted his blue wellies. My extra is a happy memory of a Book Day at my castle school. He’s also appeared with me another year at Old Palace school. I’m in the role of the Brown family’s house keeper, my namesake.

Otherwise it’s been a quiet day. I went into town after lunch to get 20 copies of the Ladies in Hats group photo from last Tuesday’s Jubilee Afternoon Tea. Several roads had happy reminders of street parties from yesterday.
