Acer flower/fruit

Noticed this as I entered a friends garden! Had never seen a flower on an acer before but it is very pretty!

I had dinner with them and then Bridget and I played scrabble after we had watched the beginning of the platinum party with the Queen and Paddington which I had missed! The game ended in a draw again! 299, 299!
