Rainclouds

We knew it was likely to rain today but all the forecasts varied enormously at the timing so we decided to walk to a nearby beach with a taverna for shelter. Although the walk was only about 2 miles we managed to get wet and sheltered under some flowering trees within yards of our destination. Once it had eased we had our morning espresso and waited while the sun came out. So a relaxing day of swimming and reading. It remained hot and sunny until the point when we decided to leave. Dark clouds were looming as l took this shot on our return and we had thunder and some more rain but not much. We decided to stay in our accommodation for our evening meal eating up what we had with us.
