Alan Herriot came bearing a gift for Pat and myself. Over an extended lunch which lasted a surprising 8 hours we discussed many matters of mutual interest.

Pat had made an Indian main course and for a dessert we finished the remainder of the Platinum Jubilee Trifle.

Alan is a man of many stories and tails. He interspersed these with the matters of mutual interest.

Alan was really taken with Pat’s eggbox crowns. He left with a couple of crowns and also prepared components to make some more.
