Camden Cord. Leica/Lumix Macro-Elmarit 45mm

Across from the inn where we are staying in Camden, is a brew pub and restaurant which offers, amongst other things, fabulous pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.  I know because a couple of nights back I savored one with wild mushrooms, ricotta cheese, shredded leeks and basil leaves drizzled with balsamico.  The crust was stupendous.  This morning, before the place opened, a tip truck showed up, backed into a parking spot right outside the front door, and unceremoniously dumped a cord-and-a-half of oak logs on the doorstep before driving away.  I overheard our neighbor and the truck driver discussing the amount of wood - at the top of their lungs -, across the parking lot.  Several hours later, the pile is still there.  I see two wheel barrows parked there, so this must be the means of transporting the wood to a better location.  Mr.  Google tells me that a cord of wood is 128 cubic feet.  That's a lot of pizza...  BTW, did you notice the price of a lobster roll???
Addendum:  Some hours later, two young ladies with thick work gloves spent at least an hour piling the wood into the wheelbarrows, neatly stacking it against the wall of the building, and then covering it with tarps.  I wonder how long it lasts.
