The weather has been lovely today and we have had our eldest granddaughter for the day as she isn’t back at school until tomorrow. We went for a long walk this morning where I managed to lose my sunglasses which fell off my t-shirt in the woods when I slipped on a steep bit. I didn’t realise until we had gone up the hill from the stepping stones over Gill Beck so we had to re-trace our footsteps and she fortunately managed to spot them and they were in one piece! After that we had lunch at home did some planting of seeds and then walked back to her house via the community gardens where she wanted to have a play.
