Yellow Iris

An early walk around the loch this morning.
There are a huge number of iris around the fringes of the loch this year, perhaps because there was a lot of work done to clear the edges of weeds and dead trees earlier in the year.
There are however very few ducks now and I have seen no ducklings at all which is very troubling.
The swans were on the bank with their 4 cygnets who look to be doing well.
