The Long & Winding Road

Due to a road closure, I found myself on this rather narrow back lane as I decided not to follow the diversions which would have added 11 miles to the journey, preferring to use my built in satnav and not the one in the car which kept on trying to take me back onto the bigger road. 

Luckily, there were some decent pull ins for at least two or three cars, and I made use of one just behind me to grab this photo. And about a mile or so further up from here and around a few more  winding bends, I was back in normal territory.
