"Digger" on the beach

Much larger than the toy diggers that children would use on Mooloolaba Beach, this Volvo spreads sand pumped back onto the beach from the Mooloolah river mouth; just able to be seen to the right of the shot (also see the Extra for the sand pumping). The build up of sand has made it difficult for boat navigation into the river. Beautiful winter weather although quite cold at, 9C to19C.
