At the top of the stairs

At the top of our stairs is a glitterball or two hanging randomly in the window on the half landing. If the light is right (and its not too cloudy) the sun streams in and makes these amazing star-like patterns across the whole of the upper landing.

Or is it stars?

Who can tell.
