Wow

Busy day with in person meetings, so I was buzzing up and down the road between my office and the other venues. All straightforward stuff.
Whilst it started fairly sunny I was regretting a dress with bare legs when a chill wind picked up, but by the time I was getting ready for the reception at the end of the day the clouds cleared and it was a stunning evening. We were up on the top of what’s now the Johnnie Walker experience at the west end of Princes St and very nice it was too! Stunning views right across the city and over to the Pentlands and Fife. Gorgeous! Some good chats to people about the new concert hall, and lovely to catch up with quite a few I hadn’t seen for ages. All went very smoothly and apart from having to hobble for the bus (not good wearing posh shoes to stand for so long!) it was a lovely evening.
Home and chatted to A about her networking day-she did really well and met loads of great people. She was obviously exhausted but excited.
