The George

After a morning of domestic chores we went to Rye to check on the house and arrange a couple of things needing attention. We noticed that The George had re-opened after probably two years (maybe more) after its fire so popped in for a drink. It’s been refurbished to a high standard but has lost some of its old world charm. Afterwards we called in on A&S, pleased with ourselves that we had offloaded Sheila’s vase once more.
