An early start for us all.

I got up at 2.30am to take my daughter and family to Bordeaux for an early flight. The idea was that they would lift the children from their beds and they would sleep all the way. It didn’t work out like that!
It didn’t help that the sat nav lady spoke quite loudly, nor that the road leading to the motorway was closed, nor that the rain was hammering down for an hour and a half, all the way there, and it was still dark.
Still, we got there, they flew home, and will be back in their house by lunchtime. 
I might need a granny nap this afternoon!
