A friend from work has run the London Marathon today, I logged on to the web page this afternoon to see how she was going. When I checked she'd just hit the 40K mark (I didn't like that the page wasn't in miles though) in a time of 5hr 19, then I found that I could see where she was on the course. She didn't have long left to run and finished in a very respectable 5 hrs 36 minutes and 21 seconds.

Personally I think anyone wanting to run a marathon is crackers, especially after having seen the state some people were in after last week's Brighton marathon, but I'm proud of everyone who does choose to run and the money that they raise for their chosen charities by doing it.
