Shadowy Friend

The garden beckoned today ... and what a day ... sunshine and warm-ish!

Good day for tidying and preparation for summer.

I started with the St. John's Wort and this is a silhouette of some of last summer's flowers which later turned into a sort of hip.

We like this bush a lot ... for its medicinal uses ... and for its colour ... but also for the way it attracts bees ... not that we like having the constant buzz but it does serve to show how industrious bees are ... and ... with a little bit of luck ... we may even get a close up blip or two in the summer!
