Derwentwater

We headed off the Derwentwater this morning for a walk along the lake and a return trip by the ferry (which we only caught by the skin of our teeth - and it would've been an hour's wait for the next one). However, it turned out that the walk was a bit too far for Paul's achilles so we'll have to take things easy for a couple of days, I think. A beautiful lakeside walk though - extra is from the far end of the lake where we saw some reed buntings in the rushes.
