Tiny Tuesday ...

... Eastern Swallowtail Cat.

You may remember back in May when I posted a swallowtail butterfly depositing her eggs on our parsley.  This picture is a result of that!  Nature is really fantastic sometimes!  Thanks to Jensphotos for hosting TT all this month.

Extra Photo:  You may also remember that I recently posted a silly Saturday collage featuring a Carolina Wren's nest in our garage.  The Extra photo is a result of that!  When Richard went out into the garage this morning he could see that the wren chicks had fledged and were on the floor of the garage!  And there were FIVE of them ... not three that I originally thought!  It's not a great picture because of the extreme low light ... we didn't want to put the garage door up because we didn't want the chicks in the driveway.  I'm sure the parents were happy about that.  Later in the evening Richard did find that the chicks had left the garage (the door was up slightly so that the parents could come and go with food) and were in our neighbors yard.  Those poor parents now have the daunting task of managing five wayward chicks!
