Oystercatcher

This one has been fairly vocal this week. Her nest is just outside the training centre’s front door and her chick is huddled into the grass close by. I’ve never seen one up close. They look a little vicious? My training this trip is complete and we’re homeward bound to London. We’ll see how far we get today.

I am cautiously optimistic I could now survive if I fell into the cold sea, and could rescue you if you were stuck up a ladder.
