Art for art's sake

A long day. W had an appointment in London so I came in with her for the day. I had a good long walk around Oxford Street and Mayfair while she was busy and then we did two exhibitions; Stonehenge at the British Museum followed by Rafael at the National Gallery. Both were excellent but it might have been a bit ambitious as, by the time we got to the second one we were feeling tired so probably didn't do it justice.

A meal at our usual restaurant and now we're on the train. We should get home by about 11.30pm.
