in the dog cat house (and hiding in the grass that is over her head now)!

I found a baby bird when I went outside while I was waiting for the kettle to boil in my coffee break this morning.  Unfortunately it was dead :(

I buried it with Charlie watching on....  I;ve not seen her catch a bird before, but if it wasn't her I'm not sure...  It could have been caught by a kite and dropped (as they fly overhead all the time here)....

Anyway, a quieter day today, and tonight I've painted the other side of the staircase.  Just the banister rail  and the skirting and doorway downstairs to do in gloss.  I might finish it before Saturday....
