Mother Swan and her Cygnets

On a visit to see a friend convalescing after a heart attack we had a stroll along Newport Quay. In 10 days time it will be heaving with people en route to the Isle of Wight Music Festival which attracts around 100,000 people. Today it was peaceful, although the father of this group gave me the evil eye. I am not a fan of swans since being chased by one whilst pushing my son in his pushchair (he is 43 now!) I have avoided them ever since!
