The Lock Keeper

Walked along the river today from Shepperton to Laleham with dog.

Ended walk at Mother in Law's house to help celebrate her 81st birthday. She put on a lovely spread and continued to appear more like 71!

Our walk took us past Chertsey Lock so we stopped to watch the many boats making the most of the great weather and the Lock Keeper at work.

Is this one of the better jobs in life?
