Too Hot To Trot

It's getting so the pavements are too hot for soft paws in the middle of the afternoon. We can get to the track at the back of the urbanisation without being on any hot tarmac, but getting back again is not so simple.

Duke doesn't seem to notice, but I can't stand still in bare feet on it for long, so it is certainly very hot. 

If we can leave our walk till after 5 o'clock, the sun may have gone round enough to give us more shade for the short walk to the garage gate.
