White Ermine Moth

Found this moth and his friend this morning on a cycle path through the local Downs so I did my bit to move them out of harms way before they got squished! Never seen them before so it was nice to get up close to them!

Lovely and warm this morning, so enjoyed time in the sunshine getting my nature fix.  Lots of butterflies about but not so many birds, and nice to see a few extra damselflies and dragonflies about too.

Found myself being productive in the garden late yesterday afternoon, and got the remaining dahlias in the ground so we will see how they fare against the munching critters!  The plastic greenhouses are looking very bare now so might have to start sowing some seeds again!!
