Drenched

Another rainy day. It’s beneficial, of course, but tree and flower blossoms are suffering. So many sad sights are visible around the yard: McFarland Lilacs, peonies, and these sad pansies. All are waterlogged and top heavy, but there is good news ahead! The sun will be shining brightly tomorrow! • Catching up on domestic chores today and soon I’ll be in the kitchen whipping up a vegan corn chowder for dinner. Another favorite of MrsP’s…hmmm, I must have more sewing to be done, LoL! • We’ll be glued to the tv tonight watching the January 6th Committee’s first hearing outlining their findings of the Insurrection at the US Capitol.
