The extremely rare water snapdragon

Our pond has a remarkable collection of wonders, such as duckweed and blanket weed, among which the baby newts sport and play, but this year we also have a solitary water snapdragon. Perhaps the dwarf water lily (not shown) will actually decide to flower this year so as not to be left out.
