Plenty of new growth

An unexpected visit to Pollok Park with sis this afternoon. Very warm and at times quite muggy. As we were nearing the end of our circuit the rain started but fortunately we were near Pollok House so nipped in for a coffee and missed the worst of the rain.

Many of the azaleas are finished but this bush beside the steps leading up to the Pollok Beech still has plenty of colour.

As we were passing the Polloc Cricket ground we spotted three roe deer …. a bit far away but it was such an unusual place to see them that I wanted to add a rather out of focus photo.
