A day of ups and downs

I had a quick walk round the Botanic Gardens this morning before meeting a friend at Oran Mor for ‘A Play A Pie And A Pint’. The play was called ‘The Body Electrician’ and was interesting and well acted but not as enjoyable as the others that we have been to this year. After a wander along Byres Road, a glass of wine and a nice wee chat in ‘The Chip’, we said goodbye and I headed for home. 
Only after buying the ticket I found that the trains were disrupted because of an emergency incident and whilst waiting for 45 mins on the platform I had an email from EasyJet to let me know my flight to Belfast on Saturday has been cancelled, very annoying but not entirely a surprise!
