Gormley in the Rain

Nice sleep in my own bed. Heavy rain showers in the morning, but they stop long enough for a walk around Braidburn Valley Park after morning coffee.

After lunch, partner and I head down to Stockbridge. We get off the bus early and walk along the Water of Leith for the last part. Blip shows one of Gormley's 6 Times sculptures in the Water of Leith, as seen from the Deanhaugh St bridge. It is raining, but that's the last of the rain, and it is sunny for the rest of the afternoon. We visit some of the charity shops. I get a book on wild flowers, and partner buys an Ikea cupboard insert for £3. Afternoon coffee and cake from Costa.

Nice quiet evening, and early for bed. I have work tomorrow.
