Pretty Boy

I am seldom sure if I see a House Finch or Purple Finch, so although I think this might be a Purple Finch, I am not sure.

I tested positive for Covid again this morning, so although I have no symptoms, I guess I haven't kicked Covid to the curb as I thought. I had to cancel my Oral Surgeon appointment, so I will have to live with these annoying stitches in my mouth for a while longer.

I never thought I would say this, but I was annoyed by the birds this morning!! There was very LOUD chirping at 3:30 AM this morning. It woke me and kept me awake!!! What were they doing up at 3:30 AM? Did they just arrive in the area? Who are they? I love listening to songbirds quietly chirping, but this was not pleasant. :-)))
