Yum!

Very busy day with a mixture of meetings, mostly in person, and some frantic form completion to finalise (late!) my pension arrangements. There was a touch of excitement around the Fringe Society meeting where Phoebe Waller Bridge turned up to sprinkle some stardust on the occasion (extra) but had had to dash there and back as it was between other meetings. They finished with a ‘fringe-y’ performance by someone who did some strange things with old radios and balls rolling around drums, whilst singing a series of phrases that make up domestic life …..Did you get the milk? etc. very odd!
Finished the last meeting then packed up the car and picked S up at the station and we headed west.
Straightforward drive over to Lochgilphead whee we’re staying tonight and picked up our keys before driving on to Crinan hotel for supper at the Seafood bar. Delicious….these were the incredibly tasty scallops for my starter.
Weather’s not looking great, and we’re worried that the ferry may be cancelled in the morning so we’re not sure what lies ahead for the break but fingers crossed!
