This is the latest lovely addition to my happy wall - a tiny heart from a good friend to remind me that it's not always raining.

And indeed this weekend has been lovely - I spent yesterday in Bradford, getting the mop cropped (it was getting hard to see) and visiting C who provided me with a lovely pasta salad lunch to thank me for two cards I made for her. One was the theatre card I started, but I was sorely disappointed with the outcome, so I made another which I (and fortunately she too) loved. Phew!

I was hoping to get a wander round by the town hall - so much has changed since I left - but it was too late by the time I left C's house and called into Tesco. It's just down the road from the football ground and there was a match on - I'm not a fan of football, but I've always loved hearing the crowd. I used to live a mile or so from the rugby stadium, and when the wind was blowing in the right direction you'd hear them too.

Usual tidying round today - how do I manage to make such a mess? - and then I was going to try to put the fallen fence panel back. My neighbour over the back had already done it though, so I called round to introduce myself and thank him. What a lovely man - he's going to buy a new panel and will paint both sides; I offered to pay but he wouldn't hear of it. I said I'd sort it next time, but I think he only agreed to humour me. Anyway, I'm very grateful to him.

Another weekend gone - time flies eh. Still, there'll be another bank holiday along soon enough :-)
