Grand day out.

Maggie and I had a lovely day out and about. We took a wee drive to North Queensferry where we much admired the bridges, then drove (along the not-at-all coastal route) to Aberdour for a chilly ice cream and a windblown wander along the beach. It was sunny but bloody freezing! And we were dressed optimistically rather than for warmth... Still nice to get out of the city for the day, even if it is a bit too cold to get out of the car! Next time we'll plan it better, go when the weather is warmer and we can take a picnic :)

When we got back to the Burg we treated ourselves and got some amazing take out from Zen Kitchen on Dundas St then settled in with a movie (The Silver linings playbook) and some fizzy pink. Got a bit rowdy on the sparkles and talked right through the film, so not sure if it was very good or not! Good night though!
