Apple Blossoms

The apple trees are in full blossom, they are so beautiful.   What started out as a very misty day has unfolded into a beautiful sunny one!

We had a very heavy deluge of rain overnight and this morning Terry found that the dock had been lifted off it's little anchor...and was out, away from the shore of the pond!   We managed to get it back in place....Terry and his trusty poles!!!  The culvert was also rather badly damaged and will need filling around it.   Didn't hear thing during the night!

Just had a lovely visit with Heather, Jim wife, Rebecca and Minga, Jim O'Brien's family.....they have asked me to make an urn for his ashes!   Wow, i am so deeply honoured to be doing this - and it makes extremely  happy to be able to do this for them!   We looked at forms etc., and glazes.....i am looking forward to exploring this form.  

We shared some very fond memories of Jim, and i was reminded of this story.
